Enemy Cherub


Description[]

Uncommon enemy in Endless Mode / Wild Metamorphosis. With Annihilation enabled, they may also spawn during boss fights.

Behaviour[]

Cherubs are slow, non-aggressive enemies that provide benefits to other enemies. They often try to stay near a large enemy, sometimes using them for protection from the player.

Attacks[]

Cherubs have no way to damage the player directly, unless the player happens to collide with them. Instead, they strengthen other enemies:

  • Hard Shields: Cherubs fire a projectile that homes in on another enemy. On impact, this provides the enemy with a hard shield that blocks all damage for a few seconds. Hard shields also prevent healing.
  • Healing Aura: Cherubs are surrounded with a circular aura that recovers the hull of nearby enemies, but not themselves, at a rate relative to each enemy's maximum hull. Higher rarity Cherubs have a larger aura radius and greater recovery rate:
  • Standard: 2% of max HP /s
  • Elite: 3% of max HP /s
  • Champion: 4% of max HP /s

Notes[]

  • Siphon Shield will reduce the remaining duration of hard shields in its radius of effect.
  • Cherubs cannot become hard shielded.
